The amount of subsidy for people with special needs in the Kingdom

Here we will explain the levels of financial support provided to individuals with special needs in the Kingdom, as these levels vary according to the individual’s marital status:

A person with special needs who is not married receives an amount of 800 Saudi riyals as a monthly stipend if he suffers from a specific disease specified on an approved list.

While this amount increases to 1200 Saudi riyals per month for a married person who suffers from the same diseases.

However, this monthly salary is reduced by half if the person uses the services of a government shelter.

Conditions required to obtain human benefits

To qualify for monthly financial support allocated to individuals with disabilities, certain requirements must be met. First, the candidate must suffer from a persistent disability, whether physical, psychological, sensory, mental, communication or learning, partial or complete.

It is also necessary that this disability has existed for a certain period before applying for assistance. In addition, a documented and recently issued medical report must be submitted confirming the existence of the disability.
